# Change the criteria for one category

Hi,

So I have a requirement that for a Dimension Environment, I have to see if things are under for prod its <=40 and in everything else its <=60 is there a way to do that?

Kelly,

Can you explain with a example data?

• ###### 2. Re: Change the criteria for one category

its percents. if the average percent for Prod is <=40 then its under for everything else if its <=60 then its under. I can't put up a workbook.

Hi Kelly,

Without sample data/workbook it's difficult to find a solution.

You can try below logic if it helps, as its not clear from your explanation which value you want to display when percent meets the criteria.

if avg([percent])<=.4 then "A"

elseif avg([percent])>.4 and AVG([percent])<=.6 then "B"

else "C"

END

I have two different criteria that need to be under which is the issue because the <=60 is overriding the the <=40 because its on the same dimension. I have Prod Dev and UA in Environment.

Kelly,

In that case you can first check <=40 in your if statement and then <=60. So if it falls in <=40, It wont go and check in <=60.

if percent <=40 then 'something'

elseif percent <=60 then 'something'

end
