Connecting from a database server to Tableau Server Postgres

    Tony Chan

Hi, I am able to query our Tableau postgres database when I'm directly logged into our Tableau server (https://tableau...)

What is needed to allow our database ServerA to connect to our Tableau Postgres database ServerB?  Our Tableau serverB is configured to use SSL for External server communications, currently Internal Repository database SSL is set to Off. tabadmin get pgsql.port returns 8060 on our Tableau server.

Do we need to open any port(s) from serverA to Tableau serverB? 8060?

Do we need to copy/import a certificate to our database serverA?

      Thanks, Tony
