I'd like to create Tableau dashboards with a direct API connection from Salesforce.
I've been told by my I/T organization a key limitation is that Salesforce doesn't import calculated fields directly from the opportunity object into Tableau.
The workaround I've been given is to create a "snapshot" report directly within SFDC. It takes a "capture" of the data once per day. A key limitation of snapshot reports - they are limited to 2,000 rows. I need flexibility to pull more than 2,000 rows at a time.
Is there another solution? A way to connect > 2,000 rows from Salesforce, with calculated fields, directly into Tableau, without a manual import?
