# Conditional Formatting and Forumlas

Greetings Community,

I am in search of a way to write a formula for conditional color format %'s based on the criteria provided below. Can someone provide me with some directions as to what steps to take and what the formula should like to accomplish? Additionally I have included an example of what I have done in Excel but want to accomplish in Tableau.

If this % of Forecasted Business : "X%" >= 79.5% Then Green

% of Forecasted Business : "X%" Between 69.5% and 79.4% Then Yellow

% of Forecasted Business : "X%" >= 68.4% Then Red

Thanks

Hello,

Try this calculation:

IF ROUND(([% of Forecasted Business]*100),1) >= 79.5 Then 'Green'

ELSEIF

ROUND(([% of Forecasted Business]*100),1) < 79.5 and ROUND(([% of Forecasted Business]*100),1)>=69.5

Then 'Yellow'

ELSEIF

ROUND(([% of Forecasted Business]*100),1)>= 68.4 Then 'Red'

else 'blue'

END

Let me know if it helps you.
