# Calculate the weekly increase

Here I have a daily-update report on Twitter followers.

I would like to build a dashboard to show the weekly increase in the number of followers.

How am I able to make a calculated field regarding the difference of the most recent number of followers and that number at seven days ago?

The attached is the example dataset I am using.

• ###### 1. Re: Calculate the weekly increase

See if this works for you:

sum([Follower])- LOOKUP(sum([Follower]),-7)

• ###### 2. Re: Calculate the weekly increase

Not exactly the solution I am looking for. I mean that conclusion would not be working after applying a filter to date.

• ###### 3. Re: Calculate the weekly increase

Use below calc field to filter for today's date:

LOOKUP(min([Date]),0)=TODAY()

• ###### 5. Re: Calculate the weekly increase

Great!

Is there a way to filter out the most recent date?

• ###### 6. Re: Calculate the weekly increase

That would be more useful than filtering out today!

• ###### 7. Re: Calculate the weekly increase

yes use this to filter:

LOOKUP(min([Date]),0)=max({max([Date])})

• ###### 8. Re: Calculate the weekly increase

If that worked for you then please mark this as correct answer and close the thread.
