# Bridging a line graph split by a dimension

Hello,

I've been trying to connect a line graph that I had identified with a dimension (which breaks the line graph) into two - estimates(blue) and projections (orange).

I'd like to get some extension of the line (like the red dotted line below).

Is there a way to do this? I've tried a calculated field using First and Last - no luck.

IF LOOKUP(SUM([_estimate]),LAST())=0

OR LOOKUP(SUM([_projection]),FIRST())=0

THEN SUM([Value])

END

Are there other ways to do this? Am I on the right track?

David

Hi, David

The problem is because of your dimension type

so I changed to a continuous number as color

Hope this helps

Thank you!  If I can't find a solution that allows me to have a clean color break between the two members of the dimension (with the ability to choose what color to use for the bridge line), then I can plan on using this. Appreciate it.
