How to stop Tableau from nesting tables

    Jared Laird

      Hi,

I'm just trying to make a simple table that's showing the counts of fields for two different dimensions. However, every time I add both dimensions to either the rows or the columns, it tries to nest the two. For example. Each dimension is just flagging the presence of a unique attribute, so the possibilities for each are either "true" or null. But because these attributes aren't mutually exclusive, when these two dimensions are added, it gives me True: Null, True: True or Null: Null/ All I'm trying to get is just a count for each in a bar chart for comparison, without having the data being nested.

What's the best way to do this? I feel like it should be pretty easy but I've been struggling to figure it out.

      Thanks!
