    Dashboard not open with browser

    Robertino Bonora

      Hello all, in our current project we have one worbook with six views in Tableau Server (10.3), same version for Tableau Desktop with wich the dashboard was created.

      Im trying with notepad++ to write an html code with javascript for post that workbook (or a view actually), what i have until now is the next code. The problem is that when i execute that code in the same notepad++ and opens an ie or chrome browsers, the page doesn't show me anything. What could be happening?

      Code:

      <!DOCTYPE html>

      <html lang="es">

      <head>

      <title>Test</title>

        <script type="text/javascript" src="http://name or ip of the server/javascripts/api/viz_v1.js"></script>

        <script type="text/javascript">

         function initViz() {

          var containerDiv = document.getElementById("vizContainer"),

          url = "http://name or ip of the server/views/name of the workbook/name of the view",

          options = {

            hideTabs: true,

            hideToolbar: true,

            onFirstInteractive: function () {

            workbook = viz.getWorkbook();

            activeSheet = workbook.getActiveSheet();

            }

      };

      var viz = new tableau.Viz(containerDiv, url, options);

      setInterval(function () {viz.refreshDataAsync() }, 600000);

      }

      </script>

      </head>

      <body onload="initViz();">

      <div id="vizContainer" style="width:100%; height:100%;"></div>

        </body>

        </html>

      Thankss to all!
