Padma Yalavarthi Jul 18, 2018 3:31 AM (in response to Daivik Mehra)In LOD's you are already aggregating the measures. So you can't aggregate it any more.
Try using indexes and rewrite the calculation rather than using the sets.
Please upload workbook or data set to understand the exact issue.

Kamil Kobierski Jul 18, 2018 4:39 AM (in response to Daivik Mehra)I want to make sure I understand it correctly. You'd like to have sets of Top N (IN) and all the rest(OUT) and the subtotal for each one of them?
Country Set Value Subtotal USA IN 5 12 Canada IN 4 12 Germany IN 3 12 Spain OUT 2 3 Belgium OUT 1 3

8. Re: Unable to perform Sum operation on an Aggregated Calculation
Kamil Kobierski Jul 19, 2018 12:37 AM (in response to Daivik Mehra)2 of 2 people found this helpfulOk, I see two possible options. One is using calculated field the other is simply using subtotals. The key is to have columns in a specific order.
Option 1 calculated field
You add calculated field that returns Total(sum([Number of Rankings])) and then you edit calculation so that it's being calculated "across and down".
Option 2 subtotal
simply set columns in other that starts with IN/OUT and add subtotals
