In my attached workbook, for the "Name" column, only 'Cheras' is appeared.

Where others nope..as there are no record/number on it.

Dear Mahfooj

• ###### 7. Re: To have all measure names appear

Lets assume,

I've selected 1/2/2018 from parameter and this is the result I'm getting

Now Total Amount from the selected date is 4000

And amount from KL/PJ is 0+2000 = 2000

So your Amount % would be 2000/4000 = 50%

If my assumption is correct then here is calculation

[Amount ZN]

IF [Search Date]=[Date] THEN

(IF [Name1]="KL" OR [Name1]="PJ" THEN [Amount] END)

ELSE 0

END

Amount %:

SUM([Amount ZN])/SUM(IF [Search Date]=[Date] THEN [Amount] END)

Here is the output,

Let me know if this help.

Dear Mahfooj

Thanks a lot...

May I know how to do it if I want to calculate the the differences between the selected date and the max 1 day before?

The reason i asked for max 1 day before is that let say above 1 day of selected date might be public holiday which is no data...For eg selected date is monday...the differences should be monday and friday.

thanks

I don't know whether I've completely understood your requirement or not

However, here is my findings

I've created a calendar to visualize your data to understand. Here I've selected 2/15/2018 from parameter.

So, as per your requirement you want to get variance from previous day which is 2/14/2018

If so then find the calculation to get the

[1 Day before Selected Date]:

THEN [Amount] ELSE 0

END)}

Difference:

SUM([1 Day before Selected Date])-SUM([Searched Amount])

Difference:

Dear Mahfooj

Kindly refer to the link below
Calculating differences between the selected date and the max 1 day before

https://community.tableau.com/message/792403#792403

I have stated more clearly on the requirement meant by max 1 day ahead...

Could you pls have a look?

Thanks and sorry for inconvenience caused...

• ###### 11. Re: To have all measure names appear

Dear Mahfooj

Referring to the attracted workbook you created...

I found that the 1day before selected date and differences, the data is incorrect.

For the highlighted one should b zero isnt?
