Converting Salesforce connector login from username to SSO - receive error

    Timothy Findling

I have a connector for Salesforce that signs in using username / password. I want to change the connector to use SSO under a different username. Everything seems to start to work correctly. I get the SSO login page and Salesforce asks me to grant permission to connect. After granting permission I get the below error message. I can start a brand new connection and sign in without issue so the single sign on service shouldn't be "down". I don't want to rebuild this connector as it would take hours. What can I do?

SSO_SERVICE_DOWN: the single sign on service for the org is down
