Where did you get these coordinates? The appear to be incorrect. For example, Scotland's lat/long is 56.4907, -4.2026 and Northern Ireland is 54.787, -6.492. It appears that many of your longitudes are not accounting for whether they are West or East. If they are West, then the longitude would be negative.
Check your coordinates and make those corrections and that should resolve your issue.
Thank you Ken, this is really helpful. I googled the co-ordinates and some were negative, but most didn't include the negative sign so I didn't. As soon as I made all the longitudes negative, everywhere landed in the right place! Such a simple thing!
Different websites will show them different ways. For instance, some sites may show London as 51.5074, -0.1278, but other sites will show 51.5074° N, 0.1278° W. It's important to remember that N and E are positive and S and W are negative.
