Giselle Miller Jul 12, 2018 8:23 AM (in response to Mavis Liu)Maybe... I need to tinker with it a little. I don't want the buttons to add to the current view/Dashboard, I want to take the user to that view. Thanks!!

Hi Giselle,
So in a sense, are you looking for a navigation button?
ie clicking on one button will take you to another view/dashboard?
Thanks,

Giselle Miller Jul 12, 2018 8:55 AM (in response to Mavis Liu)Sort of. I want the ReadMe Dashboard to be the only sheet visible until the acknowledgement button is pushed. Then the workbook can be navigated. It’s forcing the user to click before he/she can see any data. That’s what I’m trying to figure out how to do.
Thanks!

Hi Giselle,
Hmm interesting, would this option help? Password set for tableau dashboard
So this method means that only the person who enters the correct password can access and view the dashboard.
I guess this is essentially saying they have authorisation to view it?
Thanks,
Mavis
