Hi Toby, if you're asking how to retrieve passwords stored on Tableau Server, there is no way to to do that. (If you could, that would be a security problem. Security "best practice" is to use one-way password hashing to store passwords.)
Assuming that the users are logging into windows with AD integration, then there should be no need to retrieve the local passwords. Instead, Tableau should use the same credentials as the windows login.

You won't have to reissue credentials. Password changing is performed by the end user via AD, the Tableau administrators don't have to worry about it
