# Need help determining max(date) with multiple dimensions and filters

Hi friends-

Here's something along the lines of what I'm working with and the closest I've come to a solution:

This calculation works fine as long as I account for every field and filter in the worksheet. I've got additional filters though, and I'm not sure how to account for them. Ultimately, I want to return the most recent sum of sales for each line. It's the end of the day and the solution is probably just *barely* out of reach for me, but if anyone has any ideas please let me know!

Thanks,

Vince

see the attached

this is the date of the last sale

and this is the value

Thanks, Jim. I'm marking this correct because it solves the example that I gave; however my actual work case scenario is still only returning values for the lines that come to the most recent table wide date. I tried adding the existing filters to context to eliminate the possibility of an Order of Operations problem, but it still persists. I can't seem to replicate the problem in Superstore though, so I may be stuck :-(

Thanks

I can't see the real data but are you including all the necessary dimensions in the LOD and are all the data coming from a single source?

Single data source. Two dimensions, a date field set to continuous month, and an aggregate measure. Even taking the filters out altogether gives me the same result. If I drop the first calculation on Label, it shows a different date for each data point, which seems odd; if I'm understanding it correctly shouldn't it show the same date for each point along the line?
