first check the user have publish access and then publish your workbook to server.
Hi Sankar, I did not understand why the User need to have publish access ? in my case, I have a list of employees who are part of multiple groups and each employee should only be able to see the data in groups he is part of.
Isn't this a redundant task if I again give access at server level despite implementing RLS in desktop ?
I have checked with our admins and understood the root cause. In this case, the employees for whom the username() filter was applied, they had to be given access to my staging library in server in order to see the report. Only admins could do it and once they gave the access, issue was resolved.
