Hi Pritha,
I did a research and it seems that the error might be caused by ODBC driver that AWS provides.
A similar error is documented in Amazon Forum thread below.
Error messages in the wrong folder
I recommend to make sure the correct drivers for your your Tableau Desktop version are installed from drivers page below.
Additionally, I recommend to review Amazon documentation below on how to configure Amazon Redshift ODBC Driver for Windows Operating system.
Install and Configure the Amazon Redshift ODBC Driver on Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
Hope this helps

pritha sinha Jun 25, 2018 10:58 AM (in response to Sebastian Sofariu)Thank you for your reply!
I only get the error when I try to create an extract from a table with 500 millions rows. It works completely fine when I try to extract from a table with 50K rows.
Can this still be because of drivers?
Thanks

Hi Pritha,
Are you using custom SQL?
I've seen a similar error in the past and the error in the case reviewed was caused by a custom SQL dialog terminating with a semi-colon at the end of the SQL statement.
If custom SQL is not the case, opening a case with support will help initiate a deeper investigation
