Hi Celeste,
Different from date rage filter which is controlled by parameter, additional filter is not controlled by parameter.
So you need to set that filter as "Universal filter" by your self.

Shin is correct -
a parameter doesn't do anything by itself - it only serves as a means for the user to input a single value into a Tableau workbook - it is static and applies to the entire workbook until changed but only will affect those sheets where a calculated field or filter using the parameter is present
If your intent is to use the parameter Executive Parameter as a single point of entry for the user you replace the "Operations Executive" with this
place it on the filter shelf and apply it to the sheets that had the operation executive filter previously
