# Tracking Percentage Goals

Hi, how can I create some calculated conditions based on these premises:

• Car Colors (red, blue, yellow, white)  "Car Colors is the column name in the table and the actual colors are the rows"
• I need to sum all colors (Grand Total) "I have the Total option in the Analysis Tab but I prefer to create a Calculated Field"
• Then sum only selected colors like: red, blue & white
• and finally create a percentage: Sum of selected colors / Grant Total

After this; How can I create a percentage target and color code my results base on predetermined color coding?

Thanks

Hi Paco,

I'm not sure what your data looks like, but you can use this calculation to work out how many are the selected colour:

Then to find % of total:

The formulas worked great, the question is now on how to integrate that % of Total as a dynamic field to place it as a Target or next to the Analytics Total calculation.

Hi Paco,

Sorry what are you expecting this to look like?

Can you create a mockup example so that we can review?

Thanks,

Mavis

Thanks Liu, I'll try to explained using this partial view"

The goal here is to mark all instance greater than 3 days (4-7, 8-10, 11-15, 16-20 and >20) as red. 0-3 days should be marked as blue. That column name is Timeframe. It can be with this view or any other chart that shows that result. Thanks!

Hi Paco,

Please can you bring in Timeframe from your data pane and drag it into colour into the marks card?

Thanks,

Mavis

That was great, just dragging the Timeframe created my colored signal and I customized to match our codes. Very helpful Liu; many thanks!

Best of regard!
