Have You Replaced your Original Extract in Workbook with The Published Extract on Server?
This is happening because refreshing the published data source does not refresh the local copy of the data source used in the workbook.
A possible workaround is documented in the article below.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for the quick input .So I have to replace the datasource to the published version and again publish the workbook.
I was under impression that once I have published the extract to server, the workbook will automatically point to the server not the local copy.
No I was under impression that the workbook will point to the published server extract automatically once I am publshing the extract and workbook to the server.
I have one more doubt,If I replace the current extract with published datasource, then It will be a live connection to the extract right?
What If I have to do some changes in the extract and am publishing to server ,so again Do I have to manually replace the datasouce in the workbook or it will take the changes from the new version of extract from the server.
Could you plz confirm.

Yes Connection Would be Live. You need to Change it Only if those Changes are impacting the views. If you are just making changes in Extract but not using those in your view, then no need.
Thank you so much ...you guys rock....:)
