So this can be a bit tricky in Tableau...as we are unable to colour a header dynamically. However, we can move text from the header into the canvas (using dummy fields -1 and 1 to "layout" the viz in a table form)

I am still confused about how you only highlighted one row instead of all, which you showed in those gif.
In the question with the GIFs the OP wanted a dimension (New, Lost, Existing) so every row would have a colour. In your version I just created the T/F dimension for the highlight row
[Category] = 'Furniture'
I brought this onto the colour tile and set the False to White
So it is coloured, it's just that it's colored white!
Tableau Desktop does not apply color to dimensions.
