I see Amazon Athena Support for Views was released on June 5, 2018 and latest Tableau Desktop version was released on May 2018.
I would say that Tableau does not support Amazon Athena Views yet.
I recommend to submit an idea through our community: http://community.tableau.com/community/ideas

OK, the answer to my question is that YES, Tableau does support the ability to QUERY a view. However, it will not DISPLAY the view in the manner it would a table. I assume this will come in an update. For anyone else looking to use views in Tableau today, use a custom SQL query. This would be the same query you would use to create the view in Athena except you run it locally in Tableau.
