    Tableau temp table initial SQL

All - we've discovered that we are able to create temporary tables within Initial SQL and reference those temp tables using custom SQL as the next step (using MS SQL Server). This also seems to work perfectly fine when published to Tableau server. The question is, when are these temp tables dropped? Are we setting ourselves up to have hundreds of temporary tables or will Tableau/SQL Server recognize the table already exists and not create it? Or is the table dropped every time a user returns the data? We're currently publishing as a specific user using SQL Server authentication so each user accessing the workbook is hitting back to the database using the same account. Thanks!
