According to the online help article bellow, this error is returned if more than 40% of the data is missing.
Selecting Fill in missing values with zeros in the Forecast Options dialog box will not resolve this error. You must modify the source data or use data from a different source.

But i have almost 20 years of data, and adding zeros for all the months other than January,May and September for every years is something i am trying to avoid. Yes, you are right, selecting fill in missing values with zeros is not helping as well.
I was thinking of creating a calculated field where i could specify a condition with the date format, for example, "if term format is 05/01/yyyy then May , elseif term format = 09/01/yyyy then september else May end"
This is my thought process and i am finding it difficult to put it into error free logical statement.
