Try This, It is an Actual Carriage Return
"Update Date: 30/01/2018" +"
Update Type: Constant" +"
Updated by: User"
Thanks for the quick response. This worked but what if I have to substitute that with actual field names? Sorry, maybe I should have included that in my original post. The formula that I am using is the one below. Text in bold is the field name in source data.
'Update Date: ' + str([Status Update Date]) + " / " +
'Updated by: ' + [Status Updated By] + " / " +
'Update type: ' + [Update Type] + " : " +
'Current Status Update: ' + [Current Status Update]
Update Date: 2018-05-08 / Update by: Shiva Pillai / Update type: User / Current Status Update: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
The desired result:
Update Date: 2018-05-08
Update by: Shiva Pillai
Update type: User
Current Status Update: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
Is that achievable?
Sorry to bother you again. Please ignore my above reply. I figured out using your original reply that it is the placement of the + and " that would put the values in separate lines as I had desired.
Thanks again for your help.
