# How do I create a percentage of numerator/denominator

For example, numerator is 5. Denominator is 25. That's 20%. I need the 20% only to show in my data visualization (there's no need for numbers: numerator and denominator). Please help asap. Thank you!

• ###### 1. Re: How do I create a percentage of numerator/denominator

Create a New Field as, Let's say it as DIVISION

SUM(A)/SUM(B)

Drag the Field Division to your Visualization and Format as Percentage. It would be an Aggregation.

If you need any further help on this, pl attach some sample workbook to help u fast.

Thanks

By the way, how did you apply that dual line graph? Because when I go to

"Show Me" the dual line graph is grayed out. Thank you!

There is no dual axis. Whatever county u will select a sepaate line will come up because I added county to color
