Fairly new to Tableau and nobody else in my organisation uses it so hoping to get some help from you all.
To help with performance I'm constantly using the Custom SQL feature to get just the data needed for my analysis. My question is, is it more efficient to exclude unneeded data using the WHERE clause in the query or am I better off using the filters? My assumption is using the WHERE clause, but would like to be sure. Screenshot below in case my reference to 'Filters' is ambiguous.
