Does the attached workbook answer your question?
I may not have chosen the correct measures and dimensions here, but you can adjust the calcs as you need. There is a reference line where the previous dates value is. You can select what dates to compare from and to using the date params on the right (only 2 dates in the data at the moment).

Please find attached twbx file
Go to sheet name :[Visits/UV-Updated (2)] that i have created for Arrow symbols (refer calculation 1)
and added it to the editorial dashboard.
Check this on your live dat.
I have checked it for dummy data and it works. Hope this will help you.
