Yes, the third sheet should look something like this. But the students should some from the filters in Sheet 1 and 2.
I hope that makes sense
So, you want to apply 2 different filters ie. from sheet 1 and sheet 2 to sheet 3 ? I don`t think you can apply 2 different filter selections to a same sheet as the second filter will override the first selection.
You can create a dashboard with a multi-select filter to allow the 2 filter selections to work .
Let me know if this clarifies your question.
You could try to use parameters and custom calculations to achieve your desired result, but it will take a bit more time and effort. I do not know of a way to OR filters together without custom calculations, since the natural combination of multiple filters is AND.

You can create parameters, so I've created two parameters:
Student View 1
Student View 2
these parameters were just taken from the student field.
I then created 3 filter calculations, one for each of my 3 views:
The I just put this on the filters shelf and set it to true.
Then for the third view I combine both:
So the ultimate view when I bring it all into one dashboard looks like this:
I have attached a workbook so that you can review the calculations.

Thanks Mavis. But again, here we can select only one student in the parameter right.
