    Which has higher performance

I have a 15 data sources in a workbook. Should i use 15 data sources or union all of them at data base level and make it one data source. Which has better performance based on your experience?

Also, i see varied opinions on published extracts and embedded extracts. Which works faster?

If the structure for the data sources is the same, it's better to combine them into a single source. This will also be beneficial if you need to compare the data across multiple sources in a single worksheet. If the same were in multiple sources, then comparing the data may need blending which can cause performance issues.

Embedded extracts should perform better in comparison to published extracts. Remember, there may be network latency issues when connecting to published extracts.

            Hi Jyosthna,

Best idea is to combine in single source and connect it.

Don't connect more data source in tableau, it will load very slow.
