Thanks, Ciaran for your reply,
Have few more questions, listing them below, please reply.
Does Tableau support PingFederated SAML2 SSO and how this can be implemented in Linux version of Tableau?
Also please let me know how to authorize user from the database table which holds all their authorization groups.

I do believe that PingFederate is supported by Tableau indeed. Tableau does not have the direct configuration steps for PingFederate but you can find the whole Tableau Server configuration for Linux in the link below.
For any Ping configuration I suggest talking to them directly :
I am also still not sure what you mean by authorization groups. Are you referring to the SAML users database ? Or authorization on views ? Or access to Tableau Server ?
Thanks, Ciaran. I am asking about external table authorization where all users and there tied groups information are stored in the external table might be Oracle or SQL server.
From this table when user logs into Tableau his relevant group level information is extracted into Application and authorization is applied.
Does Tableau support this feature, if yes please provide step by step process?
Users are stored in the PostGreSQL database that comes with Tableau Server. I do not believe you can use another database.
