I see what you mean, I'm not able to see the calendar either. I'd suggest filing a support ticket, I would expect this to work but support can confirm that: Support Case | Tableau Software

Tableau Tech Support answered me:
The change in calendar behavior is a known issue and a fix is actually scheduled for release in Tableau Server 2018.1.1. This version is due to be released late next week but please keep in mind that release dates can change and fixes can be removed completely. I reviewed the fix and it does look to be on track for released as planned.
This issue is identified by 761050 which should be visible in the version notes at the time of release. The notes can be found here:
They didn't say anything about Tableau Public but, since it relies on Tableau Server to work, i hope it'll also be fixed.
EDIT: I've just checked and Tableau Public hasn't been fixed yet :-(
