If you are referring NCR open in Report Month & NCR open closed same month as date fields, please use the below calculation:
DATEDIFF('month',[NCR open in Report Month],[NCR open closed same month])
This will give the difference between two date fields in Months.
ABS(DATEDIFF('month',[NCR open in Report Month],[NCR open closed same month])) this will give the positive values.
Thank you for your response...
They are not date fields. one is the count of the NCRs that were opened in the report month and the other is the count of NCRs that are open and closed same month.
One minus the other should leave me with the NCRs remaining open in the report month.
The two individual calculated fields work when I select compute using Month Created.
The solution is going to depend on how the data is structured - is all the data coming from a single data source and dimension(s) in the data set
can you share your twbx workbook even if it only includes a few lines of data
Add your calcs.
If I understand correctly, you have some table calcs that are used in a final table calc. What you need to do is set the "compute using" characteristics for the nested calcs in the final table calc, and I was going to show you how.
I need to create the field in sheet2 called "Kept Open from previous report month" using the data in the data tab.
I want to see the two you've already created, and the one you are trying to use.
