Could you please attach packaged workbook.(**.twbx)
Seems like your data is NOT standard date format and we need to see your data structure to help you.
Hope you are doing well !
I guess it is still possible with your conditions.
I am assuming that you have already created parameters as above.
Just go with one trick replace the actual values of Jan,Feb as 1,2 .....that will solve your purpose of display and technically it will be 1,2 ,3.....@ backend.
Copy here ----> MAKEDATE([Order Date Year],int([Order Date Month]),1)
Making date with parameters Order Date Year and Order Date Month (note the int conversion here )
LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST
Copy here ---> DATEDIFF('month' ,[Order Date],[MakeDate] ) < 6 and DATEDIFF('month' ,[Order Date],[MakeDate] ) >=0
Drag this to filter and Select TRUE.
So I have selected 2016 and Jan and I can see Aug -> Dec -2015 and Jan-2016, I think you are looking for the same.
You can display something else but technically you can give different backend actual values @ parameter as mentioned at TRICK section
Please mark it as CORRECT and HELPFUL if it really helped you so that it can help others as well.
