Edit the title of the filter. See if you have extraneous stuff in the text of the title.
Thank you for Replying Joe.
I forgot to mention that there is no white space on either side of my title. The only characters in the text box are the ones in my title.
Is there any way you can upload a sample workbook? I would like to poke around and see what's happening in there.
Figured it out. I think its a bug.
The default font is set to 48 pts. If you change the font by double clicking the title, the font changes, but the space allocated to the 48 point font size doesn't adjust. In order to make it work, you need to change the font size on the Format Filters Pane under the Font dropdown in order for tableau to recognize the spacing difference.
Wow. That's obscure.
And yes, I would consider it a bug.
I mostly use 10.1, and it reproduced there. It also does the same in 10.5, so it's still a thing.
Any filter, any workbook, any example. Place a support call and report it.
At least you know how to address it now.
