4. Re: How to create a new column/calculation and let the left number divide the right number? (Sample Workbook Attached)
Helen Wang Apr 17, 2018 2:12 PM (in response to Deepak Rai)Hi Deepak,
Thank you very much. But I actually want the value of:
566,439/2,455,625 = 0.2306
Tableau told me it is valid, but it is not showing 0.2306 as the result.
I need ERR$ in ABS(M3)/ Q4 Ship Act($)
: For example:
566,439/2455,625=0.230
18,749/71,992=0.2603
58,565/229,544=0.25512
It is just a simple calculation in Excel but I don't know how to realize this in Tableau.
Thank you so much for your help,
Helen

May I ask how do you change the calculation from SUM() to AGG()??

8. Re: How to create a new column/calculation and let the left number divide the right number? (Sample Workbook Attached)
Deepak Rai Apr 17, 2018 2:21 PM (in response to Helen Wang)In Tableau, when you divide 2 SUM calculations, You get AGG because you are dividing one aggregarte with other.
