Hi there Matt,
Can you mock up a visual representation of what you're after in Tableau? I haven't taken a look at the workbook yet, but it may make help a bit easier to come by. Happy analyzing with Tableau!
For some reason, when I try to open the workbook, several dimensions and measures are invalid/have an error (all calculations it looks like). You may need to extract your data before posting it here on the forums. Try extracting the data, and saving again as TWBX, and re-posting.
Also, if you can describe your data a bit and which fields we should look at when putting this together, that may be helpful. I would want to know what has been calculated, and why, etc. Any details you can provide will make helping you much easier!
Sorry, hopefully this book saved correctly.
We have fiscal years that start in July so FY1718 is July 2017 through June 2018, FY1617 is July 2016 through June 2018.
Within those FY we have 6 sessions. What I am looking to do is have a way to look at On this day (May 1st) we added X amount of credits (cumulative) for Session 6, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 vs last year as of May 1st we added X amount of credits cumulative for the upcoming sessions.
Does that make sense? I feel like it doesn't.
