Mike Mainzer Apr 9, 2018 12:48 PM (in response to Gouled Farah)You need a level of detail calculation to do the table calculation, but ignore the date filter.
Get rid of your parameter. Bring date to filter.
Double click your SUM(Actuals) in the Marks card and you will get the formula for your table calculation. Highlight it and copy it.
Create a calculated field: { FIXED : [Branch] : (paste your table calculation here) }
Now drag this calculated field to text. Not Actuals.

2. Re: Calculated field that will filter to parameter date
Gouled Farah Apr 9, 2018 1:36 PM (in response to Mike Mainzer)I'm getting the following error when I created the calculated field:
Expected '}' following the expression.
The : after [Branch] is where the error occurs.
{ FIXED: [Branch]:(ZN(SUM([Actuals]))  LOOKUP(ZN(SUM([Actuals])), 1)) / ABS(LOOKUP(ZN(SUM([Actuals])), 1))}

3. Re: Calculated field that will filter to parameter date
Deepak Rai Apr 9, 2018 1:42 PM (in response to Gouled Farah){ FIXED [Branch]:(ZN(SUM([Actuals]))  LOOKUP(ZN(SUM([Actuals])), 1)) / ABS(LOOKUP(ZN(SUM([Actuals])),

4. Re: Calculated field that will filter to parameter date
Gouled Farah Apr 9, 2018 1:51 PM (in response to Deepak Rai){ FIXED [Branch]:(ZN(SUM([Actuals]))  LOOKUP(ZN(SUM([Actuals])), 1)) / ABS(LOOKUP(ZN(SUM([Actuals])), 1))}
I now get the following error:
Level of detail expression cannot contain table calculations or the ATTR functions .

Deepak Rai Apr 9, 2018 1:55 PM (in response to Gouled Farah)Yes...I didn't write it my Previous mail just let you experience it. You need to rewrite your calc.
