Turn on Cache Warm-up for better render time

    Mark Wu

Tableau 10.4 introduced a new feature to warm-up cache after workbook or data source refresh for those more frequently used views (# of clicks / # of refreshes > 2 for last 7 days as default more often definition). Did anyone find view render time improvement after it is tuned on?

For those who do not know yet, it has to be turned on site by site:

Admins can see how many query warming up at admin view Background Task type 'Warning up external query cache on data change'
