Up to now, I thought that the Undo & Redo weren't doable in JS at the moment.
Currently, the undo and redo functions are not exposed through the API... but I can also see it in the documentation I provided below. It's something that we are actively working on. In the meantime, you'll have to manually track the actions that the user did and implement your own version of undo/redo.
Bear in mind that it is mainly for the toolbars to display Undo and Redo buttons.

We embedded tableau in our website.
I saw in the following link (API Reference ) about APIs that undo and redo APIs have JS API and actually we try to insert those buttons to our website, unfortunately we saw that the those buttons sometimes are disabled and we can't click on them after action the the user make and only after many actions they are active.
I saw your Idea and didn't understand if those buttons are implementable or not via API JS, maybe there is a problem with those APIs?
