# Kind of bar Chart

I want to do a bar chart exactly like the document I attached. The Bar show a percentage. I have problems to draw the frame around the bar.

Thank you so much.

Create a duplicate measure with dual axis.

Increase the size of one of the bars and change its colour to white.

You will have an outer bar in white with only borders showing

You can accomplish this with a dual axis chart, and a bit of trickery

First, create a calculation

Then add it as the second half of your dual axis, with the first half being your other percentage.

Next, add a table calculation to your new calculation, Percentage of Total (should be 100%)

Synchronize your axis, and edit the axis to give a bit of room at the end (in the image, mine is set to 120%, or 1.2)

From what I understood, I would try doing it in following way:

Lets say you are showing profit ratio which is 84.59%.

1. Create a field named A1:

FLOAT(100)

2. Drag Max(A1) on column. Drag ProfitRatio field to the right of Max(A1). Do a dual axis.

3. Synchronize axis and edit to fixed 100

Hopefully this helps.

Thank you so much.

I have some doubts: how I create the initial dual axis chart( two bars at the same time)?

• ###### 5. Re: Kind of bar Chart

Add your measures to the rows shelf, then click on the context menu (the down triangle) on the second measure and select Dual Axis

Your answer helped so much. I almost did it, but I have a little problem: I  don't know how to add the black outline in the big white bar. How i have to do it?

On the Color option of the Marks Cards, add a border.
