Chromebook compatibility?

Hi, I'm a chromebook user w/ a Tableau educator account.

Is there any way to use Tableau using my chromebook? My university does not have a corporate account and none of the products seem to be an option.

Am I missing something?

Hi Laura,

Tableau Desktop only runs on Windows, Mac OS, and Linux; So you'd have to do something special like install WINE or PaperSp
ace to get Windows Tableau to run, see this for more details How to Run Windows Software on a Chromebook.

Are there any plans to either support the unix based Chrome OS or to launch a web-based version of the tableau desktop software to allow chromebook users to utilize your fantastically awesome suite?
