I have read almost every potential thread that talks about this, but they were all related to AD instead of local. Doesn't apply my case. Any help / thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.
Hi Derek, your best bet is to contact Tableau Support. They'll be able to look at your log files to see what's going on.

Well, i have solved the problem!
First of all check is your license activated by running "Manage Product Keys".
If it's activated, then you can use tabcmd command to initialise administrator user:
tabcmd initialuser --username "admin" --password "password" --server http://localhost
For me it worked, hope it'll help you too!
