Ah I thought it looked like it had few Table Calcs going on!
What about renaming the fields you don't want to show to have names such as 'ZZZZ' so they get sorted to the bottom of the legend (by virtue of their alphabetical order). It looks like the order is based on 2 groups, so you may be able (or need) to change the order of the pills (or change the first colour grouping to be 'ZZZZ')...if you can post a workbook I could be a bit more exact.
