    Programmed split?

    Melissa Stagnaro

I have data in a PDF report with no ability to get the raw data.  I am trying to set up the "rules" to match at least 80% of the data cases but am unsure how to say that everything before <space>M<space> or <space>F<space> is the dog's name, the next bit M or F is the dog's ***.  The dog's name does have spaces it in.  If there was such a name as "FIDO M PUPPY", I would be fine hand cleaning this later.  In most cases the M or F surrounded by spaces will be the *** only.    Thank you in advance.

I would be happy with direction on only to the above but if there is a more elegant solution if you see the data itself, here is a sample.
