# Calculation at Grand Total Level Desktop 10.4

I want there to be a separate calculation for "Multiple" rather than summing the multiples for each row. See below image for an example. Workbook attached.

The answer I want is 3.4 for Grand Total Multiple.

Thanks again for the help!

You can change the Multiple measure for

if first() = last() then

(SUM([Value]) + SUM([Distribution]))/ SUM([Contribution])

else

SUM({ FIXED [Famiy],[Category],[Date]:SUM(ZN([Value])+ZN([Distribution]))/SUM(ZN([Contribution]))})

end

first() = last() returns true only for the Grand Total (see Sheet 7),  allowing you to set a different calculation for the total row.

Thanks Michel, do I have to put ZN's in for the grand total level or will it literally calculate off what you see in the view regardless of the dimensions selected above it?

Thanks

Yes , you better  ZN()  each measure

Sorry for the very late response on this....

When I enter the formula you laid out, its a valid formula but the measure values thing goes red and it says the filter is invalid. Any ideas what I can do?

Thanks

Probably because the new calculation have a different aggregation.

Just remove the calculation from the Measure values,  and drag it back.
