Categorize customers based on a predefined criteria

    Christophe Maurice

      Hi all,

I have a list of customers who already purchased several products (each purchase in a separate raw - similar to Sample - Superstore)  and I want to categorize the customers based on what products they have.

      So, for example,

if the customer has Product A and Product C, then he is a VIP customer.

If the customer has Product B and Product C, then he is a BASIC customer.

if the customer has Product A and Product D, then he is a MODERATE customer.

if the customer has Product A, Product B, Product C then he is a LOYAL customer ....ect

I have more than 30 products and I need to use even more categories than what I described above. So I don't find the method described in the below link helpful as I need to create so many calculated parameters and sets to achieve what I want.

Any thoughts for an easier approach?
