    Error in extract refresh for Salesforce source

      I am receiving the following error message on one of my extract refreshes - "Error "Internet communication error: Failure when receiving data from the peer".

      I have tried republishing the data source. The extract refreshes sometimes and fails with same error other times.

      I am unable to see anything useful specific to this data source in the INFO level logs. Can you please let me know if someone has faced similar error?

          Hi Siddharth,


          This error is caused by an internal network problem.

          I would advise you to work with your IT team to ensure that the proper SSL certificates are installed, if applicable, and that firewall or proxy server settings are not blocking communication between the computers running Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
