    How to use Input Fields for creating REST URL

    Lucian Jakob

      Hello everybody,

      after I create my frist webdataconnector I want now to work it more flexible.

      Therefore I want to have a html page with input fields which should be used for creating the url which is then used for the REST Request.

      The usual method document.getElementById() is not working. When I use the simulator and look to the results it shows me a undefined object.

      Does anybody have an idea what the problem is or what to change?

      Thanks in advance!!!!

      //html

      <body>

      <div class="container-fluid"   style="background-color:#ebe8e8;color:#de1c44; height:40px;text-align:center">

      <h4>Product Data Connector</h4>

         </div>

      <br>

      <div class="container container-table" >

              <div class="row vertical-center-row">

                  <div class="text-center col-md-4 col-md-offset-4">

      <input type="text" id="publisherId" placeholder="User" class="text-center"></input><br>

      <input type="text" id="pw" placeholder="Password" class="text-center"></input><br>

      <button type="button" id="submitButton" class="btn btn-success" style="margin: 10px">Pull Data</button><br>

      <p id="text"></p>

      <script src="perfectFile_JQuery.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

               </div>

              </div>

      </body>

      //JS

      var pw = document.getElementById("pw").innerHTML;

      var publisherId = document.getElementById("publisherId");

      var bsp = document.getElementById("text");
