Hide Sign in Button when session ends/authentication fails

    David Bywaters

I have successfully embedded Tableau Visualizations onto a separate website using Trusted Authentication and the Javascript API.

All works fine, but the "Sign in to Tableau" button appears when the user is not authenticated (e.g., when the sessions ends, or the user has third party cookies disabled)

Is there a way to stop this button from appearing?

The main concern is that we don't want to invite the user to a login prompt - they won't have any credentials to login to Tableau, and we don't want to invite them to have a go at logging in.

Is there a Javascript API event/callback that I can tap into when the authentication fails?

Any other more creative solutions welcome!
